Southampton Boat Show 2008

Well we got there, after many sleepless nights and many trips up the A35 we were ready to launch the Morgan 260. It was great to see all of those who have been following us on the web and came to see us at the show. The most overwhelming aspect of the show was the public support towards an all new British Boat building company.

The other aspect commentated on was the level of finish with in this tardis of a 26 ft power cruiser, along with the surprise of “and a BBQ” probably the most liked item of all.

The show delivered more than we could have hoped for, fantastic public support, front cover and review of our prototype in Motor Boat Monthly magazine, over 20 potential demos lined up and some exclusive deals with major companies negotiated.
Were now back in not so sunny Devon and preparing the first production boat ready for Jan 09.

This along with the exclusive deal with the Barrus Group for the Mercruiser and Yanmar engines will keep us flat out until the New Year.

Having the M260 on the front cover of Motor Boat Monthly during the show was an extra boost, as if we needed it, and the review was good for a prototype, 5 out of 5 for performance! If you want to see the photos that didn’t make the Mag take a look at the MBM Gallery - M260 goes surfing!

Over 20 discerning people have been in contact regarding Demo’s down here in Plymouth. We know that once you’ve been out on the M260 every thing else is, well not quite enough.

We are now also in the process of updating our Video (update - now online!) so keep watching the website and remember if you really want to own a true British power cruiser call or e-mail Andy to arrange your Demonstration, better be quick!
